Christams Competition!

Okay so in the festive mood, I thought we should have a good olde fashioned contest.
So, for the details:

You must draw or write a scene of christmas cheer about your favourite Jedi mentor/character that you chose when joining the club!

The prize: 10 FP, a featured deviation and choosing of the next contest!

Deadline: 1st January 2007

Send your submssions in a note titled contest submission.

What is this club?

It's a community for all Star Wars fans who like the Old Republic and its Jedi Order. You can submit your artwork here, comment others work and meet another people with the same interests. And you can also gain special ranks depending on your activity and effort.

How can I join?

Simply send us a note with the subject "Join" and don't forget to tell us your favourite Jedi. You can also devWatch us and add our icon to your journal. Before you do, please read the rules.

How do I submit my artwork here?

First you have to be a member of this club. If you are, send us a note with the subject "Submit" and a link to the original entry of your deviation. Your pic must be related to Star Wars.

Padawans can send us one work per week.
Jedi Knights, Jedi Masters and Council Members can send us one work per day.
This rule doesn't involve the competition submitting.

Special Ranks?

Yes, when you become a member, you will gain the lowest rank (padawan) If you submit some artwork, you will gain special points and also higher rank. You can get special points by participating in a contest, too.
And there's also something unique. You can choose one Jedi who will be something like your source of knowledge. Just choose your favourite Jedi... But remember, we are Old Republic's Jedi, so choose only the Jedi from this age. When you are becoming a member send us a note where you write your chosen character.

Ranks and Special Points

0-20 SP - Jedi Padawan
20-30 SP - Jedi Knight
30-50 SP - Jedi Master
50-... SP - Council Member

Submit an artwork: 5 SP
Participate in a contest: 5 SP
Win a contest: 10 SP
Fulfill master's task: 5-10 SP (depedning on the difficulty of the task, master will appoint it)

Planets
Members are sorted into the four different planets (Coruscant, Tatooine, Dagobah and Naboo). It's absolutely random. You do not choose your planet! If you are submitted in the place you especially hate, note me and I'll try to do something with it =o)

As the special ranks and favourite Jedi, this option is just and only for fun.

What are my duties?

Nothing's mandatory, but you should submit as many artworks as possible to extend our club.

Council Member's duties: Council members are similar to the masters. They have padawans, they have to give them some tasks and Special points for their fulfilling. They are allowed to have three padawans at the most.

Master's duties: When you become a master, you can accept other member as your padawan learner. You should give him some tasks, so he can gain Special Points and become a Jedi knight. If you want to accept a padawan, simply send him/her a note. And send a note to us if he/she accpets you as your master. When ordering a task, please tell your padawan by a note, not by writing here on journal or on our user's page. Don't foget to note also us, so we can give your padawan special points. Every master can have only two padawans.

Knight's duties: As a Jedi knight, you are preparing to become a Jedi master. You have no master, so you don't have to fulfill any tasks.

Padawan's duties: As a padawan, you are chosen by a master or you are trained by the head of the Council. You should fulfill master's task, because than you gain Special points and higher rank.
